Day Nine Update! 🌳 Tree work continued today with cleanup and stump grinding, and WOW, what a difference it made. The yard looks fantastic and much safer.
Brian and I are committed to not cutting corners, and the ductwork was no exception. We didn’t trust the process of simply cleaning out the old ducts, so we called a vendor for a quote on a complete replacement. Our decision was confirmed when the vendor, during his evaluation in the crawlspace, knocked the vent by the guest bedroom and some illicit items fell out. Apparently, someone had been using the floor vent to dispose of personal effects. That's all I'll say about that.
I’m just so glad we will have peace of mind as future sellers of this home and can ensure peace of mind for the buyers as well.
A dear friend joined us on his days off to help with the demo, which meant so much to us! The boys made quick work of both bathrooms, and the demo progress continued smoothly. Our daughter has started a new nightly ritual of walking over to the home with Brian to help clean out the pool.
We officially made the call to our pool expert to have her come out and give the all-clear! That's happening in a few days, and the kids could not be more excited!
